Made in the USA

The high wing, all-aluminum design can be configured as a tricycle gear aircraft, as a taildragger or it can be quickly converted to floatplane or ski plane mode. It is available with either a Rotax, or Jabiru powerplant.

For those who prefer a high wing aircraft with appealing style, responsive handling, and a remarkably reasonable price, the Explorer is going to be a major contender in the LSA field. And the fact that it’s built out of proven, rugged materials, i.e., aluminum, means it’s going to have tremendous fortitude needed for flight school training and high resale value. Anyone who takes the time to fly an Explorer is going to experience flight as it was meant to be.

Because the Explorer was designed with float flying in mind, it has a very large tail group with a highly effective rudder and elevator combination that dampens adverse yaw in turns. The 44-inch wide cockpit is roomy and can accommodate people up to 6’5” tall with plenty of shoulder and hip room. If the seat is set back all the way, most people would not be able to reach the rudder pedals. The panel is large enough to accommodate a wide range of instruments up through IFR installations.
